Brief introduction of the School of Mathematical Sciences of Qufu Normal University.
The School of Mathematical Sciences is divided into two campuses: Qufu Campus and Rizhao Campus. There are three undergraduate majors: Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Information and Computational Science and Statistics, and there are Mathematics College and Probability and Statistics College. At present, there are doctoral degree authorization points in applied mathematics, postdoctoral research stations in mathematics, and master degree authorization points in mathematics first-class disciplines, including basic mathematics, applied mathematics, probability theory and mathematical statistics, computational mathematics, operational research, cybernetics and other disciplines. At the same time, it can recruit graduate students majoring in curriculum teaching theory (mathematics), master's degree in education, master's degree in college teachers and postgraduate students applying for master's degree in service. Currently, there are 1968 students. Applied mathematics is a key discipline in Shandong Province during the Ninth Five-Year Plan. Basic Mathematics 198 1 was awarded a master's degree and was one of the first disciplines in China. This subject is a key subject (A-level) in Shandong Province during the Sixth Five-Year Plan, the Seventh Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan (five A-level subjects in the province), and mathematics is the only one. Applied mathematics and basic mathematics have also been rated as key disciplines in the 11th Five-Year Plan of Shandong Province. Applied mathematics has the status of Taishan scholars. Mathematics and applied mathematics were rated as the first batch of provincial brand building majors.
