Is architectural design a science major? Math to be used?
It is the theoretical requirement of science and engineering to apply for this major with an art foundation. Architectural design mainly considers the functional requirements, appearance and rationality of the building, and has little to do with mathematics. But your design needs to verify whether the bearing capacity of the building foundation you designed is enough, such as seismic grade and lateral force resistance. My graduation projects are all done by myself, and the division of labor may be clear after I take part in the work.
