The department of mathematics has three undergraduate majors: mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and probability, three majors: computing technology and statistical software, accounting electrification and economic mathematics, and three master majors: basic mathematics, statistical probability and applied mathematics. Among them, probability theory and mathematical statistics and basic mathematics (* * *) are provincial key disciplines. The department consists of 6 teaching and research sections and 1 research institute, namely: differential equation teaching and research section, probability theory and mathematical statistics teaching and research section, computational mathematics teaching and research section, economic mathematics teaching and research section, geometric algebra teaching and research section and mathematics research institute. There are more than 80 faculty members, including professors 13, associate professors (28), doctors 15, in-service doctoral students (6) and overseas students (20).
