Who is in the math department? Can you tell me what your math class is, such as what you study as a freshman and what you study as a sophomore?
As far as the professional courses I have studied are concerned, the general situation is as follows:

Freshman: Mathematical Analysis, Advanced Mathematics, Analytic Geometry, Advanced Geometry

Sophomore: mathematical analysis, ordinary differential equation, real variable function, complex variable function, differential geometry, operational research, cybernetics.

Junior year: modern algebra, topology, functional analysis, probability theory and mathematical statistics, elementary number theory.

Selected readings of mathematical analysis and advanced algebra theory (these two courses prepare for postgraduate entrance examination)

Senior year: Selected Theory of Mathematical Analysis and Selected Theory of Advanced Algebra (these two courses are for postgraduate entrance examination).

Whether mathematical analysis is held for three semesters or four semesters depends on the situation of the school. There are also schools to learn discrete equations, mathematical history and so on.
