Hua (19 10- 1985) and10/2 were born in a poor family in Jintan, Changzhou, Jiangsu. His father, Hua Ruidong, came when his son was only forty years old, and named him "Luo Geng" as a good omen for Shunfu to "enter the laundry list to ward off evil spirits, and he will live forever". My mother was born in Mengjin, and her ancestors were the famous Xinglin family in Meng He. 1924 Hua graduated from junior high school in Jintan County and was admitted to Shanghai China Vocational School. Because of his poor family, he dropped out of school and went home. A year later, he became an apprentice in a small grocery store run by his father. Because he loves mathematics, he studies hard in his spare time. 1929 began to publish papers in Shanghai Science magazine, in which the reason why Su Jiaju's algebraic quintic equation solution could not be established was paid attention to by Professor Xiong Qinglai, head of the Department of Mathematics of Tsinghua University. On the recommendation of Professor Xiong, Hua came to Tsinghua University to study and work at 193 1. He worked as an administrator, teaching assistant and lecturer for only eight years. 1in the autumn of 946, forced by the white terror, he left the United States and successively served as a researcher at Princeton Institute for Advanced Studies and a tenured professor at the University of Illinois. 195O, China responded to the call of the motherland and resolutely returned to Beijing from the United States. He has served as Professor Tsinghua University, Director of Institute of Mathematics of China Academy of Sciences, Chairman of Chinese Mathematical Society, Member and Deputy Director of Department of Mathematics and Physics of China Academy of Sciences, Director and Vice President of Mathematics Department of University of Science and Technology of China, Director of Institute of Applied Mathematics of China Academy of Sciences, Vice President of China Academy of Sciences, President of China Optimization Method and Economic Mathematics Research Association, Vice President of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Vice President of China Association for Science and Technology. 1985 12 In June, Hua collapsed on the platform in Tokyo, Japan due to a heart attack and worked until the last moment of his life, at the age of 75.
