How to improve students' computing ability in primary school mathematics teaching
A person's mathematical calculation ability mainly includes three aspects: the accuracy of calculation results, the skill of calculation methods and the quickness of calculation speed. To improve primary school students' mathematical calculation ability, I think we should work hard from the following four aspects: First, let students master the operation rules skillfully: in primary school, students should learn three kinds of numbers-integer (natural number), decimal and fraction, and all three kinds of numbers should be operated in four ways-addition and fraction. How to make students master all kinds of arithmetic skillfully? I think teachers should do the following three links well in teaching activities: 1, make clear the theory, and under the guidance of teachers, students will discuss and communicate with each other through cooperation, and gradually sum up the algorithm according to the meaning of operation. 2. Practice more, make full use of appropriate opportunities inside and outside the class, do a lot of calculation exercises for students, give more guidance and comments on the calculation process of students, and let them master the algorithm skillfully. 3, pay attention to error correction, teachers should pay attention to collect students' errors in various calculations, classify and analyze them, and carefully make a certain number of test cards with various calculation errors, distribute them to each student, let them correct the errors on the test cards one by one, and explain the errors in each test and the specific reasons for the errors to the whole class. Sometimes, after the mistakes made by students are corrected by teachers, they will make the same mistakes again after a while. In this case, teachers should pay attention to cultivating students' estimation ability. The new curriculum includes cultivating students' estimation ability, which fully embodies the importance of estimation in mathematical calculation and real life. Estimation ability is also an important aspect of a person's computing ability. Practice has proved that it has four advantages: 1, which helps us to predict the calculation results; 2. It can improve the ability of mathematical analysis; 3. It can solve real life problems; 4, check whether the results are basically correct. Third, strengthen students' oral arithmetic training. In class, the following steps are generally taken for oral arithmetic training; 1, let the students work out the results with their mouths first. 2. Let the students talk about their own oral calculation methods and affirm good oral calculation methods in time. Sometimes, for the same topic, ask students if there are any other oral calculation methods. 3. Finally, the teacher explained and emphasized the oral calculation method. In addition to the oral calculation problems in the teaching materials, teachers should carefully compile a certain number of exercises involving various oral calculation methods for students to practice repeatedly in self-study classes. Oral arithmetic training should run through the whole process of mathematics teaching, make oral arithmetic training regular and long-term, and gradually improve students' mathematical calculation speed. 4. Be good at using simple algorithms. Some mathematical calculation problems have obvious characteristics of form and digital structure, which is a great opportunity for us to show simple algorithms.
