Mathematician Yang Le
Yang Le, an academician of China Academy of Sciences, is a famous mathematician in China. His main achievements are also manifested in mathematics, such as function value distribution theory, amplitude angle distribution theory, normal value and so on. Yang Le believes that mathematics has a strong role in cultivating people's logical thinking, and scientific research is a creative camp. There are no formal ways and means, so we can only constantly overcome difficulties.

Yang Le's introduction.

Yang Le 1939 was born in a simple family in Nantong. From the beginning of school, his father Yang Jingyuan only asked him to study hard. Sure enough, he didn't disappoint his father. After graduating from high school, he was admitted to Peking University and chose mathematics as his major. After graduating from college, he was admitted to the Institute of Mathematics of China Academy of Sciences and became an apprentice of mathematician Xiong Qinglai. 1977, China just ended the war, and people gradually realized that the country's development could not be separated from science and technology, so Yang Le and Chen Jingrun were established as the typical representatives of science in China.

Study hard and win glory for our country.

Yang Le thinks that if China wants to become a powerful country in mathematics, it must win one of the international Abel Prize, Wolff Prize and Fields Prize, and China has never won any of them. So Yang Le started to cooperate with these three winners from 1996, and designed Morningside Mathematics Center in Chinese Academy of Sciences to train China's own mathematics talents. In Yang Le's mind, mathematics is a strong foundation of a country. Even observing the whole world power, the countries that can rank first are all developed countries in mathematics. Therefore, Yang Le has been making contributions to China's mathematics all his life, not only developing himself, but also cultivating the mathematics consciousness of the next generation.

Time and effort to become a powerful mathematical country

Yang Le's time has gradually passed. Apart from all the research results left to us, Yang Le pinned her hopes on the next generation. China can't innovate and develop without mathematics. Therefore, Yang Le once said in an interview that China has become a powerful country in mathematics, but it still can't reach the level of a powerful country in mathematics, and it needs constant efforts and time to achieve it.
