At the age of five, he was admitted to the junior class of the University of Science and Technology of China to study applied mathematics. Three years later, due to his excellent academic performance, he won the Guo Moruo Scholarship. After studying for 4 years, he thinks that pure theoretical mathematics is too simple and impractical, and hopes that the knowledge he has learned can be applied to real life.

Dr. Yu Peiwen is an associate professor at Fudan University School of Management. His research areas include data-driven operation management, operation and innovation in technology and media industries.
