Heilongjiang University is a local comprehensive university with all characteristics, high level and modernization founded by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province. It is a university jointly established by the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and Heilongjiang Province. It is located in the northern ice city of Harbin. Its predecessor was the Russian team of the third branch of China People's Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, which was founded in 194 1.
