Which is chosen as an elective course, primary school Chinese or primary school mathematics?
Take my school as an example.

1, in terms of workload

Chinese has supplementary exercises, word books, exercises and tests, classroom workbooks, big compositions, small compositions and draft compositions. It takes you a lot of time to grade three compositions, and you have to take them home to work overtime. So every time a student writes a composition, it is a nightmare for the teacher. There are many kinds of Chinese homework, and the amount is particularly large.

Mathematics has supplementary exercises, exercises and tests, classroom workbooks and oral calculations. Even the math homework of the two classes is easier to approve than Chinese.

The above is the real situation.

2. From the point of view of the class teacher.

When you are a Chinese teacher, you must be a class teacher, unless you are pregnant or old. A colleague is 48 years old and still a class teacher. The head teacher simply works too much and has too little money. The subsidy for the head teacher can be ignored, but the daily things can be piled up.

When the math teacher just graduated from work, the school will let you be the head teacher. Generally, you will not be allowed to be a teacher for several years. After all, you will be considered to teach two classes. So there are no math teachers over the age of 30 in our school who are still class teachers!

3. As far as teaching difficulty is concerned.

I don't know much about math, but teaching Chinese is really boring. Now the text is getting more and more difficult. Prepare lessons for at least one class. There are many and complicated knowledge points in Chinese. If you want to teach students well, you must have a bucket of water.

Teaching mathematics is not so complicated, and the knowledge points of mathematics are clear.

Take my school as an example, but it's basically the same.

My major in college is primary education. I can choose primary school Chinese or primary school math, but I chose Chinese and now I regret it. I can't escape the composition and the work of the class teacher. These two things alone have crushed me! My math classmate has stopped being a class teacher, and I left tears of regret.
