Focus on the school of science.

1953, 10 in June, the school set up a mathematics teaching and research group and a physics and chemistry teaching and research group. On March 20 14, it was renamed the College of Science. There are 6 teaching institutions, 6 scientific research bases and 2 offices.

The College of Science has three first-class disciplines, namely, physics, system science and mathematics, with 10 master's degree in two disciplines, in which physics is the key discipline in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan and the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan, while mathematics and system science are the key disciplines in the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan.

1959 was established in March, and was renamed T School of Communication and Information, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications in March 2006. It is the oldest college in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

A series of research achievements of our college won the National Science Congress Award 1978 and the National Science and Technology Award 1992, 2003, 2008, 20 1 1. In 2000, it became a key discipline of the Ministry of Information Industry and Chongqing. The college has a doctoral degree authorization point and a master's degree authorization point for the first-level discipline of information and communication engineering.
