There are many varieties and quantities of teaching instruments, and the instruments of the same variety also have different models and specifications. Therefore, when managing, we should not put it in a heap, but must store and manage it in a scientific way. In principle, it is required to classify according to the Classification Method of Teaching Instruments Catalogue in Primary and Secondary Schools issued by the Ministry of Education. Instruments in middle schools are divided into ten categories: science (physics, chemistry, biology, geography, mathematics), audio-visual education, music, art, physical education and general (labor) technology. Among them, each kind of scientific instruments is divided into nine categories: measuring instruments, general instruments, special instruments, models, specimens, wall charts, glass instruments, medicines and other experimental materials and tools (see the table below). Primary schools are divided into six subjects: science, mathematics, audio-visual education, music, art and physical education. Like the above-mentioned middle school science instruments, they are divided into nine categories. Mathematics is divided into five categories: measuring instruments, general instruments, special instruments, models and wall charts.
