Numerical control (NC) technology refers to the technology of controlling the action of one or more mechanical devices with digital instructions composed of numbers, characters and symbols. Numerical control generally uses general or special computers to realize digital program control, so numerical control is also called computerized numerical control, or CNC for short. Generally called CNC abroad, the concept of NC is rarely used again.
