The college entrance examination in Hainan Province will start from the freshmen who entered high school in the fall of 20 17, and adopt the "3+3" model to merge one book and two books. From 2020, the admission batches in Hainan Province will only be undergraduate batches and specialist batches. The application and admission of parallel volunteer in different schools will increase the two-way choice opportunities for colleges and students.

Starting from the first year of senior high school in the autumn of 20 17, Tianjin abolished the division of arts and sciences. From 2020, the unified college entrance examination subjects will be adjusted to Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages, and the unified examination time will still be arranged in June.
