How to calculate fractional division

1, Introduction to Division:

Division is one of the four operations. Knowing the product of two factors and one of them, the operation of finding the other factor is called division. If ab=c(b≠0), the operation of finding another factor A by multiplying the product C and the factor B is division, written as c/b, and read as C divided by B (or B divided by C). Among them, c is called dividend, b is called divisor, and the result of a operation is called quotient.

2, integer division algorithm:

Starting from the highest digit of the dividend, take out the number with the same digit as the divisor (if the number taken out is less than the divisor, take out the number with one digit more than the divisor), and divide by the divisor to get the highest digit of the quotient and the remainder (the remainder may be zero).

Change the remainder to the next unit, add the number on the dividend, and then divide by the divisor (when the divisor is less than this number, the quotient is 0) to get the quotient and the remainder. This continues until all the digits on the dividend are used up to get the final quotient and remainder.

3, division rules:

How many digits is the divisor? Look at the first few digits of the divisor first. If the first few digits are not divided enough, look at another one. Except the one to which they belong, all the vendors will write on it, which is not enough for a quotient of one and zero. The remainder is less than the divisor. If the quotient is decimal, the decimal point of the quotient should be aligned with that of the dividend. If the divisor is a decimal, it must be divided into integers and then calculated.

2. Four operations:

In elementary mathematics, when the first-level operation (addition and subtraction) and the second-level operation (multiplication and division) appear in the same formula at the same time, their operation order is multiplication and division first, then addition and subtraction. If there are parentheses, count the parentheses first and then count them. The operation order at the same level is from left to right. Such operations are called four operations.
