The reuse mark marked "1" indicates that its main manufacturing material is PET. At present, most bottled water and drinks on the market are made of this material. The container made of this material has high transparency, so that others can see the contents at a glance; Acid and alkali resistance, can hold all kinds of acidic juice and carbonated drinks; Waterproof, not easy to ooze, if it is only used as a bottle of low-temperature drinks, it is very suitable, which is why it is favored by beverage manufacturers, and it is often used to hold various drinks such as juice, water and tea. But it is only resistant to heat at 70℃, and it is only suitable for warm or cold drinks. It is easy to deform when it is filled with high-temperature liquid or heated, which will lead to the melting of substances harmful to human body and is not suitable for recycling.
The reuse mark marked with "2" indicates that its main manufacturing material is HDPE. Plastic containers made of this material are suitable for cleaning products, bathing products and so on. Some milky white packaging products such as soy sauce and yogurt are made of this material. These containers are usually not easy to clean, and it is easy to leave the original cleaning supplies and become a hotbed of bacteria. It's best not to recycle them. Like PET, it has a low melting point and is not suitable for holding high-temperature liquids.
The reuse mark marked with "3" indicates that its main manufacturing material is PVC. This material is mainly used to make water pipes for engineering, but it is rarely used for food packaging. It is easy to produce harmful substances at high temperature, and even it will be released during the manufacturing process.
The reuse mark marked with "4" indicates that its main manufacturing material is LDPE. This kind of material is mostly used to make cling film, plastic film and other products. The plastic wrap made of this material should not be wrapped on the surface of food, and it should be heated by microwave oven. LDPE is not heat-resistant, and the plastic wrap made of this material will melt when the temperature generally exceeds 1 10, leaving some plastic preparations that cannot be decomposed by human body.
The recycling marked with "5" shows that the main manufacturing material is PP, and the plastic container made of this material has good air permeability, high heat resistance, high impact resistance, strong mechanical properties and resistance to various organic solvents and acid and alkali corrosion. It is widely used in plastic containers such as microwave lunch boxes and milk bottles. The plastic container made of PP is the only one that can be heated by microwave oven and can be reused after careful cleaning. However, some microwave lunch boxes are made of No.5 PP, but the lid is 1 PE, so they can't be put into the microwave with the box.
The reuse mark marked with "6" indicates that its main manufacturing material is PS. Plastic containers made of this material are often used for instant noodle boxes and fast food boxes in bowls. This material can't be put into the microwave oven, nor can it be used to contain strong acids (such as orange juice) and strong alkaline substances, because it will decompose polystyrene that is not good for human body. Therefore, when using a packed lunch box, don't pack hot food.
The reuse logo marked with "7" indicates that its main manufacturing materials are PC: ordinary kettle, space cup, baby bottle, etc. Due to the incomplete reaction in the production process, plastic containers made of this material are easy to release the toxic substance bisphenol A, and plastic containers made of this material should be avoided as far as possible to hold food.
