One step at a time.
The length of each step is uncertain. This is the content of the second grade math class in primary school. Its purpose is to make primary school students realize the importance of the unity of length units. One step is what we call a long step. We know that the steps of adults and children are different, so the length of a step is different for different people.
In the same way, so is one foot. One foot is the length between thumb and forefinger, and the other is the length between arms. So people are not sure about the length of one foot and one foot, but our centimeters and decimeters are fixed, so the purpose is to make students understand.
