Teaching Design of "Understanding of Circle"
I. teaching material analysis

This lesson is the teaching content in the fourth unit of the first volume of sixth grade mathematics of People's Education Press. The teaching of this unit is carried out on the basis that students have mastered the calculation of the perimeter and area of a straight line and have a preliminary understanding of the circle. Through the study of circle, students can initially understand the basic methods of learning curve graphics, and at the same time penetrate the internal relationship between curve graphics and straight graphics.

Second, the analysis of learning situation

1 Grade 6 students have mastered some characteristics of plane graphics and formed a certain spatial concept. There are many round objects in life, and students have a certain perceptual knowledge.

2. The sixth grade students have certain information analysis and processing ability.

Third, the teaching objectives

Knowledge and skills: Organize students to know the names of various parts of a circle, understand the relationship between the diameter and radius in the same circle, and experience the characteristics of the circle by folding the circle, having a look, drawing and observing and measuring. Master a variety of methods to draw a circle, and initially learn to draw a circle with compasses;

Process and method: experience the process of understanding the circle, experience intuitive operation, practice demonstration and other learning methods.

Emotional attitude and values: in learning activities, communicate the existence and function between knowledge and life, experience the value of mathematics, and stimulate students' interest in learning.

Teaching emphases and difficulties

Teaching emphasis: explore the names, characteristics and relationships of each part of the circle.

Teaching difficulty: experience the characteristics of the circle through hands-on operation.

Fourth, the teaching process
