Multiplication: An integer can be divisible by another integer, which is a multiple of another integer. Similarly, the quotient obtained by dividing one number by another. For example, a/b=c, that is, A is a multiple of B, and a number has countless multiples, which means that the set of multiples of a number is infinite. It should be noted that a number cannot be called a multiple alone, only that a number is a multiple of another number.
Factor: a mathematical term. If a*b=c(a, B and C are all integers), then we call A and B factors of C. It should be noted that this relationship only holds when the dividend, divisor and quotient are integers and the remainder is zero. On the contrary, we call c a multiple of a and b, and we don't consider 0 when studying factors and multiples.
Common multiple:
Definition: The common multiple of two or more integers is called their common multiple.
The least common multiple of two or more integers is called their least common multiple.
