The profit problem of primary school mathematics
Profit = cost × profit rate

In the profit problem, if the topic is not specified, it is generally "1" in terms of cost.

For example, there are 100 refrigerators, and the price of each refrigerator is 1500 yuan, so each refrigerator can make a profit of 25%. What is the profit?

25% profit refers to the profit rate, so the selling price of each set is the cost: 1+25%= 125%.

The cost of each unit is:1500 ÷125% =1200 (yuan).

The profit of each set is: 1500- 1200=300 yuan or 1200×25%=300 yuan.

The total profit is: 300×100 = 30,000 yuan.
