Children in kindergartens and primary schools have different physical and mental development characteristics. On March 20th, 20021,the Ministry of Education issued the Guiding Opinions on Vigorously Promoting the Scientific Connection between Kindergarten and Primary School, aiming at the long-standing problems such as the disconnection between kindergarten and primary school education, weak connection consciousness, over-emphasis on knowledge preparation and imperfect connection mechanism, and put forward a series of targeted and important measures. In the autumn semester of 20021,the pilot project of young cooperation was launched, and it was fully rolled out in the autumn semester of 2022.

Literally speaking, it is the connection between kindergarten and primary education, and it is also a major turning point in children's development. If it is not handled well, it will have a negative impact on the child's future development. Its core is how children of this age can effectively adapt to primary school life from the aspects of thinking mode, study habits and social skills, and smoothly realize the connection between young and old.

The Guiding Opinions on Vigorously Promoting the Scientific Connection between Kindergarten and Primary School adheres to the scientific orientation and puts forward four basic principles to ensure the scientific connection of young children.
