Introduction to Chen Yinque: 300 words
Chen Yinque (1890 July 3-19691kloc-0/October 7) was born in xiushui county, Jiangxi, and his ancestral home was in Changsha, Hunan. China historian of modern history, researcher of classical literature, linguist, academician of Academia Sinica, one of the four tutors of Tsinghua University National College in the Republic of China (the other three are Liang Qichao, Wang Guowei and Zhao Yuanren), and he is familiar with more than 20 languages. His historiography was born out of the textual research of Ganjia, and his representative works include Liu Chuan, A Brief Comment on the Origin of Sui and Tang Dynasties System, and A Review of Political History of Tang Dynasty. In Tsinghua's century-old history, one of the four great philosophers, the other three are Ye, Pan Guangdan and. His father, Chen, was one of the "Four Childes" in the late Qing Dynasty and a famous poet. His grandfather, Chen Baozhen, an enlightened governor who supported the political reform, was once the governor of Hunan. Because of his fame and profound knowledge, he was called "the son of a son, the professor of a professor" when he was teaching in Tsinghua.
