The College actively carried out academic exchanges with foreign countries, and invited internationally renowned mathematicians such as Professor Chen Shengshen of the University of California at Berkeley and Professor Qiu Chengtong of Harvard University as honorary professors. On average, more than a dozen people go to the United States, Europe, Hong Kong and other countries and regions for academic exchanges and cooperative research every year. 1997 successfully hosted the international conference on computational mathematics, and 1999 hosted the international conference on wavelet analysis and its application.
