You can choose "Postgraduate Entrance Examination" when you are in the third year of high school, which is very good, but you have to start reviewing before you can use it. You may not have been able to do it before.
English magazines may be better than Crazy English or New Oriental magazines, but there are too many Chinese characters, or China Daily. In fact, you can choose almost all of these.
I feel that Reader's Youth Digest is a little shallow for senior high school students, but it is certainly not impossible. If you pursue deeper, you can go to Sanlian Life Weekly to see the world, or the people around the world are more mature and have a sense of the times.
