According to the Opinions on Further Reducing and Standardizing College Entrance Examination Items and Scores published by the Ministry of Education, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, the Ministry of Public Security, the General Administration of Sports and the China Association for Science and Technology on 20 15, the state will cancel some national college entrance examination items:

(1) cancel the extra points for sports special students;

(2) cancel the extra points in the subject Olympic competition for middle school students;

(3) cancel the bonus items in the science and technology competition;

(4) Cancel the bonus points for outstanding students at the provincial level;

(5) Cancel projects with outstanding ideological and political deeds;

Therefore, whether it is a local competition award or a national competition award, the college entrance examination is no longer eligible for extra points.
