This college entrance examination robot is an artificial intelligence system with automatic problem-solving technology as its core, which is based on the cutting-edge technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence and natural language recognition in Tsinghua University. Its research and development team comes from a local artificial intelligence research and development company in Chengdu High-tech Zone.
On June 2nd, Mr. Li, a team-related person, told this newspaper that on the afternoon of the 7th, after the math course of the college entrance examination was finished, the "college entrance examination robot" would be invigilated by a professional notary in the room closed by the external network, and the electronic version of the test paper would be entered for "marking", and the answer would be displayed through the calculation of the internal server. On the day of the challenge, AI-MATHS will answer several college entrance examination questions at the same time within 2 hours, and then the teacher will correct the answers.
AI-MATHS is a robot led by the 863 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology (also known as the "Super Brain Program"), which has been studied for more than 4 years. Lin Hui, director of the Big Data Center of Tsinghua University Suzhou Research Institute, is the CEO of this technology company. He introduced that the company's core team participated in and dominated the key technologies and systems for solving elementary mathematics problems (namely, the mathematics college entrance examination robot) in the sub-projects of the National 863 Project's key technologies and systems for humanoid intelligence based on big data.
The college entrance examination robot AI-MATHS was born on 20 14. In May of 20 16, its R&D team announced that AI-MATHS would take the college entrance examination in 20 17.
On February 20 17, AI-MATHS scored 93 points in the simulation paper of college entrance examination, which exceeded the average score of liberal arts mathematics in Sichuan college entrance examination in 20 16, and passed the mid-term evaluation.
In order to train the speed of answering questions, the team increased the number of questions. At present, AI-MATHS has accumulated 500 sets of questions.
However, although artificial intelligence has superior ability in calculation, reasoning and storage, the breakthrough lies in its ability of self-deep learning and self-optimization. Lin Hui introduced that AI-MATHS solves problems through a comprehensive logical reasoning platform, instead of learning to store question banks. "It can learn more than 7,000 test sites from primary school to high school, and the calculation amount can reach 800 power of 2."
1 year, the R&D team has conducted in-depth research on this college entrance examination robot in complex logical reasoning, intuitive observation reasoning, computer algorithm, deep learning and other aspects, but there are still some bugs that need to be improved. For example, AI-MATHS lacks the ability to understand common sense, "You can only guess if you don't understand the topic".
This time, it is the first time that the college entrance examination robot system has been shown to the public.
