Changes of New Curriculum Standards of Primary Mathematics
The changes of primary school mathematics curriculum standards are as follows:

Generally speaking, our six-year primary school is divided into two sections in the 20 1 1 version of the curriculum standard, and the 2022 version of the new curriculum standard divides the six-year primary school into three stages, namely, the lower grades of 1 and grade 2, the middle grades of grades 3 and 4, and the upper grades of grades 5 and 6, which is more scientific. After the new curriculum standard, the level of knowledge and ability that children should reach in each period is very certain, so teachers and parents only need to do what they should do in the corresponding period.

On the small side, primary school mathematics focuses on experience and needs to cultivate children's sense of number, quantity and symbol. The contents of the four parts have all changed. Numbers and algebra are two topics now. One is the number and operation, and the other is the quantitative relationship. Numbers and algebra emphasize integrity and consistency, and move negative numbers, equations and inverse proportions to junior high schools.

The knowledge sub-fields of quantitative relations are added and listed separately, and the understanding of quantitative relations is strengthened by using addition model and multiplication model. For example, teachers can provide students with familiar situations, so that students can feel the number and quantity in specific situations, express the equivalent amount with the help of small squares, disks and sticks, and then transition to digital expression, that is, children are required to demonstrate the operation process by operating physical objects.
