Mao Zedong cherished time and read widely all his life. Among them, "three times and four temperatures" reading and "no pen and ink to read" are his main reading methods. When he was young, he was familiar with such ancient books as Historical Records and Hanshu, and kept revisiting them. Even in his later years, he repeatedly studied the same history book he loved, and had the habit of marking the cover after reading it once. So in many books he read, he left a circle that he read two or three times. When Mao Zedong was studying in his youth, he had the habit of "reading more, thinking more, writing more and asking more questions". His writing is mainly manifested in the production of content excerpts.
Second, Lu Xun's reading methods
On the basis of extensive reading, Lu Xun formed his own reading method. One is extensive reading. He advocates learning from others and "browsing casually" in his spare time. The other is studying hard. For those that are difficult to understand, you must read them until you have read them thoroughly. The third is specialization. He advocates "extensive reading" as the basis, and then choose what he likes. After all, nothing has been achieved. Fourth, live reading. Lu Xun advocated independent thinking, observation and practice. He said: "There are also disadvantages in specialized reading, so we must get in touch with society and make the books we read come alive." He also advocated "reading this living book in the world with his own eyes". Fifth, participate in reading. Lu Xun not only read selected books, but also participated in the author's biographies and albums to understand his era and status.
Third, Sue's reading method.
Su, a famous mathematician, advocates reading more and intensive reading. When he studies, he usually reads a general outline the first time, and gradually deepens his understanding the second time and the third time. A Dream of Red Mansions, Journey to the West, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, that's what he thinks. He likes Liaozhai best, and I don't know how many times he has watched it repeatedly. At first, I didn't understand some places, and there was nowhere to look. He will continue reading and read later. He always thinks while reading, doing problems until the last reading, and all the problems are finished. In his view, it is not necessary to read too much, but to read well. Only by knowing the advantages and disadvantages and mistakes of this book can we read well and read well.
Fourth, China's reading methods
Hua is a mathematician who grew up by self-study, and his reading method is unique.
Lay the foundation with slow kung fu. After graduating from junior high school, Hua taught himself the content of senior high school. He laid a good foundation with slow efforts first, and then gradually accelerated the progress. It took him five or six years to learn the contents of high school by himself. Because of his solid study, he attended the main courses of research shortly after he arrived in Tsinghua.
"thickness" method. Hua attributed the reading process to two stages: "from thick to thin" and "from thin to thick" When you really have a thorough understanding of the content of the book, grasp the main points of the book, and master the spiritual essence of the book, reading will change from thick to thin, and the more you read, the more you feel thin. If in the process of reading, you discuss each chapter in depth, add notes to each page and supplement the reference materials, then the book will become thicker and thicker. So reading is a two-way process from thick to thin and from thin to thick.
Push this idea. After getting a book, Hua thought about the title for a while, then closed his eyes and thought, what should I do if I do it myself? When everything is thought out, I will start reading. Everything I already know will be scanned quickly, and I will read those new and original ideas specially. In this way, China can learn from others and benefit a lot.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) Wang Zikun's reading method
Mathematician Wang Zikun's reading method is also very stylish. One is plagiarism. When Wang Zikun was in middle school, he went to the library as soon as he had time to finish his homework. He borrowed a good book and could not afford it, so he made up his mind to copy it. He thinks he still has the ability to copy them. He copied the Advanced English Law, The Complete Book of English and The Art of War written by Lin Yutang. He couldn't put it down, so he copied two copies at a time. Wang Zikun believes that people only know the pain of copying books, but they don't know the benefits of copying books. It is better to read them ten times than to read everything. The second method is slow and fast. In his view, the first chapter or two of a book is usually the key to the whole book, because each subject has a specific research object and special terms and symbols. For example, plane geometry studies the properties of triangles, circles and other figures, and elementary algebra mainly studies algebraic operations. Therefore, only after patiently studying the first chapter or two and mastering the thinking method of this subject, will he be interested in reading. After he got the book, he always read slowly at first, taking notes while reading.
Sixth, tanaka kakuei's reading method of "tearing books"
Former Japanese Prime Minister tanaka kakuei lost the opportunity of systematic study after finishing high school because of his poor family in his early years. During his work-study program, he paid great attention to reading methods. In order to exercise his memory, he recited two Japanese dictionaries, A Concise English Dictionary and Wide Linz, tearing off one page at a time and throwing them away when he learned well. This exercised his extraordinary memory.
