What are the definition and value fields?
Definition domain refers to the value range of independent variable X, which is one of the three elements of a function (definition domain, value domain and corresponding rule) and the object of corresponding rule.

Range, a mathematical term, in the classical definition of a function, the range of values that change with the change of variables is called the range of this function. In the modern definition of function, it refers to the collection of all images corresponding to all elements in the domain under a corresponding law.

Discrimination:

"Range" and "value range" are two concepts that we often encounter in our study. Many students often confuse them, but they are actually two different concepts.

"range" is a set of all function values (that is, every element in the set is the value of this function), while "Range" is only a set of some values that meet a certain condition (that is, all elements in the set may not meet this condition). That is to say, the scope is the scope, but the scope is not necessarily the scope.
