On March 20th, 20021,the Ministry of Education issued the Guiding Opinions on Vigorously Promoting the Scientific Connection between Kindergarten and Primary School, aiming at the long-standing problems such as the disconnection between kindergarten and primary school education, weak connection consciousness, over-emphasis on knowledge preparation and imperfect connection mechanism, and put forward a series of targeted and important measures. In the autumn semester of 20021,the pilot project of young cooperation was launched, and it was fully rolled out in the autumn semester of 2022.

If it is not handled well, it will have a negative impact on the child's future development. Its core is how children of this age can effectively adapt to primary school life from the aspects of thinking mode, study habits and social skills, and smoothly realize the connection between young and old.
Basic Principles: The Guiding Opinions on Vigorously Promoting the Scientific Connection between Kindergarten and Primary School adheres to the scientific orientation and puts forward four basic principles to ensure the scientific connection between children and young children.
First, adhere to the child-oriented. Accurately grasping the characteristics and laws of children's learning development is the basis of promoting scientific convergence. The document proposes to pay attention to the continuity of children's development, respect children's original experience and development differences, help children prepare and adapt in an all-round way, and cultivate habits and abilities conducive to children's lifelong development.
The second is to adhere to two-way convergence. Cohesion is the common responsibility of kindergartens and primary schools. The document emphasizes the establishment of cohesive consciousness, cooperation between kindergartens and primary schools, scientific preparation and adaptation to schools, slowing down the slope and promoting children's smooth transition.
The third is to adhere to systematic advancement. Eating for all is a systematic project. The document proposes to integrate multi-party educational resources, integrate administration, teaching and research, kindergartens and primary schools, and form a joint force between home and school education.
The fourth is to adhere to standardized management. It is emphasized that we should establish a dynamic supervision mechanism, strengthen governance, correct and reverse the practices and behaviors of off-campus training institutions, kindergartens and primary schools that violate children's physical and mental laws, and provide a good educational ecology for the connection of early childhood education.
