Basic Principles: The Guiding Opinions on Vigorously Promoting the Scientific Connection between Kindergarten and Primary School adheres to the scientific orientation and puts forward four basic principles to ensure the scientific connection between children and young children.

First, adhere to the child-oriented. Accurately grasping the characteristics and laws of children's learning development is the basis of promoting scientific convergence. The document proposes to pay attention to the continuity of children's development, respect children's original experience and development differences, help children prepare and adapt in an all-round way, and cultivate habits and abilities conducive to children's lifelong development.

The second is to adhere to two-way convergence. Cohesion is the common responsibility of kindergartens and primary schools. The document emphasizes the establishment of cohesive consciousness, cooperation between kindergartens and primary schools, scientific preparation and adaptation to schools, slowing down the slope and promoting children's smooth transition.
