In 2023, the unified proposition subjects of Guizhou junior high school academic level examination are Chinese, mathematics, English, physics and chemistry, among which physics and chemistry are joint examinations. Subject papers are all composed of easy questions, medium questions and difficult questions, and the scores of the three questions account for about 70%, 20% and 10% of the total score of the subject respectively. There is no so-called "finale", and the more difficult problems are scattered in a small topic of different big topics, or in one of them.

The proposition fully respects the examination forms and score settings of cities and counties over the years, highlighting the following principles:

3. Reflect fairness, and the proposition is based on the national compulsory education curriculum standards. The test materials fully consider the life reality, cognitive level and * * * consciousness of students from different regions, different nationalities and different learning abilities.

4. Emphasize practicality, closely link with practice, and highlight students' ability and accomplishment to analyze, explain and solve simple practical problems in life, production, society and natural phenomena by using the basic knowledge and skills they have learned.
