How smart are chimpanzees?
Chimpanzees are the smallest species in Scarabaeidae, with a body length of only 70 to 90 cm, developed canine teeth and the same tooth form as humans. They live in the tropical rain forest. They are just miniature gorillas.
Many reports say that chimpanzees are smart, and scientists have confirmed this fact. They can use some of the most sophisticated tools and skills. In addition, chimpanzees have strong imitation and learning ability. In California, USA, a clever female chimpanzee named Keke, who knows nearly a thousand kinds of sign languages, is the only chimpanzee who can communicate with humans.
It is said that this chimpanzee is one of the few chimpanzees in the United States who can sign language. On a hot day, Keke, a chimpanzee, suddenly sent a distress signal to the staff, pointing his finger at his teeth all the time, which meant to tell the staff that his teeth were very painful, so the staff called the dentist. When the dentist checked, Keke was also very cooperative. The doctor who was present at that time said that Tang Ke was really smart. Not only that, but finally, the dentist decided to pull out Keke's tooth. Before anesthesia, Keke also made a gesture to let the' teacher' accompany him.
After listening to this report, do you all know the intelligence of chimpanzees? Their IQ is really high. It is said that some zoos will show them TV plays to help improve the psychological condition of these animals.
All these things seem strange, but that's the truth. The intelligence of chimpanzees is absolutely beyond our imagination. Some researchers have even tested that chimpanzees have higher IQ than humans, memory ability hundreds of times stronger than humans, altruism and self-awareness. So it will be studied by humans and said that these chimpanzees will have higher IQ.
