Yancheng middle school, Jiangsu Province, referred to as "Zhong Yan", formerly known as "yancheng middle school, the fourth national Sun Yat-sen University". 1928 was renamed as "yancheng middle school, National Central University District" and later as "yancheng middle school, Jiangsu Province". Later, due to War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and other reasons, the name and address of the school were changed many times. From 65438 to 0953, the school was renamed "yancheng middle school, Jiangsu Province".
Yancheng middle school, Jiangsu Province is the first batch of key middle schools, the first batch of four-star high schools and the first batch of national demonstration ordinary high schools in Jiangsu Province, and is known as one of the "five golden flowers" of ordinary middle schools in Jiangsu Province. Since its establishment, it has trained a large number of talents for the motherland and become a high-quality student base for a number of key universities such as Nanjing University, Southeast University and China University of Mining and Technology.
Yancheng No.1 Middle School is rooted in the old Yanfu area with profound cultural heritage and glorious revolutionary tradition.
