Chinese teacher's speech at class parent-teacher meeting

Dear parents:

Good morning. I am very glad to have the opportunity to communicate with you face to face and exchange children's Chinese learning.

First of all, I want to say that it is my pleasure to teach your children, because most of your children are hardworking, obedient and diligent. This is particularly prominent for girls, such as Zhao, He Ying, Shi, Wei Chunbo, Dong Shasha and so on. For boys, some students are more sensible and diligent, represented by Cui and Xie. The performance of these boys is basically stable.

Below I will report my work from the following aspects:

Listening to lectures is the key to the quality of Chinese learning. Students mainly acquire knowledge in the classroom. If they don't listen carefully in class, it will be difficult to make up after class. It can be said that a minute in class is worth an hour after class. For example, most students in the class listen carefully in class, but it is not enough to listen carefully. They must also think positively and speak enthusiastically. For example, some students in the class spoke actively, such as Zhao, Shi, Xie and Cui. So I did very well in every exam. However, most of the students with unsatisfactory exam results are prone to desertion in class, have poor study habits, and need teachers to guide and manage things other than study, so their grades are difficult to be stable.

Homework: Homework is to insist on students' knowledge mastery. The high correct rate of homework shows that they have a good grasp of what the teacher said, but the low correct rate shows that they didn't listen well in class. For example, Shao Yunlong, Li Zhuoxun, Zhang Wen and other students have a low correct rate of homework, which has a lot to do with their frequent desertion in class. They don't know some of the topics I talked about in class. Judging from the handwriting of the homework, there is also a problem of learning attitude. If you write neatly, your attitude will be more serious. If the handwriting is scribbled, the attitude will be scribbled. A careless mind, no matter how clever, will not get good grades. For example, the scrawled money in the class and, I should say, be smart. They can speak actively in class, but their grades are always poor because of their bad attitude. If you want to change your attitude, you should start with writing.

Composition: It is the most important aspect of Chinese achievement. Whether the grades are excellent or not depends on the composition. For example, Zhao, He Ying,,, Cui, etc. In the class, the Chinese scores are excellent, the composition is better, and some students usually perform well, just because the gap in composition level can't get high marks. For example, Chen Yongbin and Qian. If you write a good composition in junior high school, you don't have to worry about Chinese in senior high school. How can I write a good composition? The method I take is to practice more. Practice makes perfect. All the students mentioned just now have the habit of keeping a diary and doing excerpts. Over time, they can write a good composition. Therefore, I also ask students to read more selected compositions, recite more sentences and improve their writing level.

Extracurricular reading: In Chinese teaching, there is an old saying: "Three points in class, seven points outside class." This is not to say that it is not important in class, but to apply some methods learned in class to extracurricular reading and truly become your own ability. Extracurricular reading can not only improve students' reading comprehension, but also enrich their knowledge. It's not enough to rely on what's in class now. Extracurricular reading can also help students learn to be human. Sometimes, our teachers and parents may feel a little annoyed with some truths, but in the process of reading, they will be subtly influenced. Some of our parents should stop reading leisure books when they see their children reading extracurricular books, but should pay attention to what books their children are reading. If they are useful books, encourage them to read and buy more good books for them.

Recitation: The improvement of students' Chinese literacy needs rich accumulation. The ancients said, "If you can't do it, you can recite 300 Tang poems." Without rich language accumulation, students can't speak wonderful languages and write good compositions. Therefore, children should be urged to recite more beautiful sentences, famous sayings and aphorisms, idioms and ancient poems.

As the saying goes: "Nothing is difficult in the world", we must believe that as long as we pay, we will certainly get something.

Now that your child is about to graduate from junior high school, our teachers and your parents have the same wish, hoping that the child will study hard in the last period of junior high school. I know what you want from me as a Chinese teacher is how to help your children improve their Chinese learning as parents. I put forward the following three suggestions for your reference:

First, let students learn Chinese well from writing every word. How about students' Chinese learning at a certain stage? Just look at his handwriting. Therefore, I hope our parents can often look at their children's exercise books. If they find that their children's handwriting is scrawled in recent years, it is necessary to communicate with them and let them write every word carefully and settle down to study.

Second, we should attach importance to children's mastery of the basic knowledge of Chinese. To learn Chinese well, some things, such as bricks and other building materials, must be firmly mastered. These basic knowledge mainly include: words, idioms, reciting accumulated ancient poems, classical Chinese and so on. It takes time for children to master these basic knowledge. Generally speaking, boys learn Chinese worse than girls, just because boys are playful and refuse to take the time to master these basic knowledge. Many boys in our class have this phenomenon. Perhaps parents also found this problem in your child's Chinese unit test paper. Therefore, as parents, it is the responsibility to urge children to take the time to master the basic knowledge.

Third, help children improve their reading and writing skills. Regarding the improvement of reading level, I think we can find some good real questions over the years and compare the reading part with the standard answers. Carefully analyze their mistakes, and over time, their reading level will definitely improve. As for composition, it is difficult to improve the level of composition at once. But in this last less than a year, we can still improve the children's writing level. As parents, we can do the following things. First, you can buy some extra-curricular books for children to read, which can be excellent composition books. You can also read books to your children when you are free, and talk to them about the books they read, so that their reading interest will be stronger. Second, you can often communicate with your children and tell them how to behave. If a child wants to write a good composition, he must first learn to be a man. Only sensible children can write excellent compositions. In addition, you can also find ways to enrich your child's experience and life, and let your child's composition have content to write. The third is to urge and guide children to write weekly diaries.

In short, I hope that parents should attach importance to their children's Chinese learning, believe that their children can learn Chinese well, and take my suggestions as a reference to help their children learn Chinese according to their different situations. Let's work together to make your child a qualified and excellent middle school graduate.

Thank you!
