Sorting of gold content in mathematical modeling competition
The order of gold content in mathematical modeling competition is as follows:

MathorCup is a national competition. Compared with other competitions, it has two characteristics: first, it has high gold content; Second, the winning rate is high.

Award-winning proportion: the contest has national first prize, second prize, third prize and successful entry prize. 5% for the first prize, 0/5% for the second prize/kloc-and 30% for the third prize. As long as the papers that meet the requirements and pass the duplicate check are successfully submitted, at least successful entry can be achieved.

Extended introduction:

First: MathorCup is a national competition, and it is still very difficult! However, it doesn't matter, we will help you. After the competition starts, we will also provide you with ideas, data, codes, questions and answers in time.

Competition level: In order to cultivate students' innovative consciousness and the ability to solve practical problems by using mathematical methods and computer technology, China Optimization Method and Economic Mathematics Research Association decided to hold the 12th MathorCup University Mathematical Modeling Challenge in 2022.

Second: don't add too many ideas (I think our home is enough, as all the students who have attended it before know, for the specific reasons, see article 6), and don't always think that you can do it all at once after reading other people's ideas.

With my years of modeling experience and award-winning experience, other people's ideas can really give me the direction of modeling, and sometimes it can open my mind, but the next detailed modeling still needs to be done by myself. Therefore, we can read more ideas, but don't rely too much on them, and form our own ideas.

There are still many difficulties in the modeling process. It's important that you don't give up. We will always help you.

Third: the division of labor is really important, very important. It is not the students who write papers in the early stage that have nothing to do with this, and the students who code have nothing to do with this. In my experience, every time we model, the three of us are not idle in any link. If someone is always idle, the team leader should reflect on whether there is a problem with the division of labor or the tacit understanding.

Fourth: Don't find modeling difficult and give up halfway. Compared with other competitions, the model contest has two characteristics: first, the gold content is high; Second, the winning rate is high. Many times, even if we can't do it, as long as our paper meets the requirements, every link has it, and there are no outrageous mistakes, then the probability of winning the prize is great. As long as you finish well, you will basically get the third prize in the country, so don't give up, just give up later, it's really not worth it.
