A piece of maple on Qixia Mountain forms a maple ridge, which is one of the five traditional red leaf viewing spots in China. Every late autumn, the red leaves are like fire, and the forest is dyed, and the scenery is very charming. There is a folk custom of "bull's head in spring, Qixia in autumn", and Nanjing people especially like to go door to door and taste the artistic conception of "frost leaves are red in February flowers".
