Seeing that some schools have reflected some incomprehension about Mathematical China Mathematical Modeling Network Challenge, it is necessary for me to stand up and talk about my own views. First of all, the positioning of the mathematical modeling network challenge lies in the socialization of mathematical modeling, not an ordinary academic competition. There are many mathematical modeling competitions now, from the school level to the whole country. Winning these competitions can indeed bring me some benefits, such as bonuses, extra credits, and even the qualification to walk to graduate school, but these do not take into account your future employment problems. No matter when you study, you have to choose employment after all. What is the use of certificates when we are employed? Perhaps many students who find jobs know that these certificates of mathematical modeling are of little use. What is the reason? The main reason is that schools are out of touch with society. A lot of things we get in school are not recognized in society, and so is the ability of mathematical modeling. In fact, according to the survey of enterprises in Mathematical China, it is not that enterprises do not need mathematical modeling talents, but that the needs of enterprises are far from the abilities reflected in some competitions. Even if they win the grand prize, it doesn't mean that they have the mathematical modeling ability that enterprises need. Mathematical China will do a lot of work in the socialization of mathematical modeling. Many enterprises came to us in the early stage, hoping that we could recommend excellent mathematical modeling talents, usually with very high salaries. However, because I don't know many students' mathematical modeling ability, it is obviously unrealistic for all students to judge their real practical ability only by some subject competitions, but to judge their talents requires a very detailed work. This year's Mathematical Modeling Network Challenge is such an opportunity for initial screening. In particular, it has been supported by the global mathematical modeling ability certification center, fully absorbed their standards on mathematical modeling ability, and formulated a detailed talent training plan. Some qualified talents will be included in the talent pool of Mathematical China, and we will give targeted guidance to the talents in the talent pool so that their abilities can meet the needs of enterprises. Contacting the right enterprises and improving the social recognition of mathematical modeling is a new way for everyone to get employment. After that, we will also hold a large-scale job fair for mathematical modeling talents.

Secondly, Mathematical China is also expanding the academic influence of mathematical modeling. By joining the Global Mathematical Modeling Competence Certification Center, we are also expanding VIP members, increasing academic exchanges, sharing mathematical modeling resources, and integrating many mathematical modelers into one, so that it is possible to cooperate to solve some large and difficult mathematical modeling problems. Students who pass the certification competition will have the opportunity to become our VIP members. Later, a series of lectures such as mathematical modeling examples, mathematical modeling magazines and mathematical modeling research topics will be launched to gradually improve the academic influence of mathematical modeling.
