What's the difference between mathematical analysis and advanced mathematics?
Advanced mathematics is mainly for non-mathematics majors. It introduces the basic concepts and methods of calculus and related continuous functions, such as properties, series and differential equations. Advanced mathematics focuses on "knowing what it is" and "how to do it", and gives general mathematical methods within the scope of continuous functions for practical problems, which is the basis for learning other science and engineering disciplines.

Mathematical analysis is to introduce real number theory and strict calculus theory based on it for mathematics majors or those with higher requirements for mathematics. The key point is to "know why", understand the ins and outs of basic concepts and methods of calculus, understand the basic thinking methods of establishing mathematical theory, and master general mathematical thinking methods and skills, which is the necessary basis for further learning mathematics courses and mastering modern mathematical theory knowledge.
