Zhu Xinwen
Zhu Xinwen is very good at mathematics, and he has been very sensitive to numbers since he was a child. In high school, Zhu Xinwen won the first prize in the National Mathematics League, and because of this, he entered the National Olympic Training Team. In the training team, his math performance is still top-notch, and he was admitted to Peking University Institute of Mathematical Sciences in the college entrance examination. After coming to the university, Zhu Xinwen began to study mathematics with some famous tutors, and then went to the University of California at Berkeley to study for a doctorate. Dr. Zhu Xinwen has stayed in the United States since graduation. He first taught at Harvard University and then at Northwestern University, and trained many mathematicians for the United States.
Wowkie Zhang
Zhang Wei is not very old. 198 1 was born in a small mountain village in Dazhu County, Sichuan Province. Although he was born in the countryside, his parents still attach great importance to his education and let him go to school. Since childhood, Zhang Wei has also shown excellent mathematical talent, and teachers are full of praise for his mathematical achievements. In 2000, Zhang Wei was sent to the Department of Mathematics in Peking University. After graduating from Peking University, Zhang Wei went to Columbia University in the United States to study abroad, and received his doctorate in 2009. Now Zhang Weicai has been taking doctoral students in his thirties. He is a full-time professor at MIT and a tenured professor in the Department of Mathematics at Columbia University.
Yun Zhiwei
Yun Zhiwei also came to Peking University in 2000 to start studying mathematics. After graduating from college, he went to Princeton University for further study and received his doctorate in 2009. After graduating from Ph.D., Yun Zhiwei has taught in many universities such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University and Yale University. Later, from 20 18, he became a professor in the mathematics department of MIT.
Xu Chenyang
Xu Chenyang once returned to his motherland to teach, but only one year later, he went out and never came back. Xu Chenyang received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Peking University. After his master's degree, he went to Princeton University to study for his doctorate. In 20 12, Xu Chenyang returned to his alma mater, Peking University, and began to study mathematics. In 20 17, Xu Chenyang was selected as a lecturer in Poincare, the only young mathematician in China at that time, and also won a prize of 1 10,000. However, in the second year, Xu Chenyang left Peking University and became a full-time teacher in the Mathematics Department of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has not returned yet.
Unfortunately, many talents have not returned to China!
