First, the more difficult it is to learn the knowledge of mathematics, the less and less places it can be used.
Mathematics is different from Chinese. The more you learn Chinese, the more interested you are in it. Chinese is everywhere in your life, but math is different. The more you learn, the harder it is. When I was a child, the numbers were very simple, but after junior high school and high school, all kinds of mathematical formulas, to be honest, even α and β could not be distinguished at school. Moreover, the place where mathematical knowledge can be used in life is really limited, and we usually don't need functional calculation to buy food and things. I hate math because I don't use it much and my exam results are not ideal.
Second, math teachers are mostly rational.
Those who study liberal arts are mostly emotional, while those who study science are mostly rational. In getting along, we will also find that emotional people are more empathetic and easier to get along with, while rational people are sometimes very boring when they communicate. The same is true of teachers. If you meet a rational and boring math teacher, who wants to learn math? My math teacher in junior high school is like this, so I especially hate math from the beginning of junior high school exams.
Third, math needs to be practiced day after day to see the effect.
Different from Chinese, history and geography, the efforts of mathematics learning need to be used in peacetime, so the process of learning mathematics is long and painful. Naturally, no one wants to sit there and study difficult problems every day.
These are the reasons why mathematics is not pleasing.
