How to solve the number in high school mathematics?
First look at the formula in the root sign, or whether the root sign formula and other items can satisfy a square formula, such as a complete square formula or a square difference formula;

Second, see if there are any factors that can directly open the root sign, such as √8, 8 has factors 4 and 2, 4 can directly open the root sign, and change √8 into 2√2, thus simplifying the formula in the root sign to the simplest, even if it is retained, it will not affect the calculation;

Third, if there is a root sign in the equation, try to multiply both sides of the equal sign by the root sign; If the root sign is in the fraction, try to multiply both the numerator and denominator by the root sign.

Fourth, if there are multiple root signs in the formula, it depends on whether the two sides of the equal sign are divided by the root sign or whether the numerator and denominator are divided by the root sign.

It must be noted that in fractions, if the root sign is in the denominator, then the root sign in the denominator must be eliminated in the simplification operation, while the root sign in the numerator does not need to be eliminated, so it is better to eliminate it. If it can't be eliminated, simplify it to the simplest according to the second method.

These methods are basically the same, but they cannot be applied to all radical formulas. Some formulas should not be extreme, depending on the actual situation.
