Rotate counterclockwise and clockwise. The nine-turn serial diagram was originally the nine-store diagram of Yang Hui, a mathematician in the Song Dynasty. Left turn and right turn are the directions in the figure, which refer to counterclockwise and clockwise rotation respectively. In the previous issue, a number turned left and right on the same circle to get the next prize number, or folded along an axis symmetry to get the next prize number.
