The college entrance examination in Yunnan is a three-volume national examination, which is simpler than the first and second volumes. The three volumes of the national volume are currently applicable to Yunnan, Guangxi, Guizhou and Sichuan.
The purpose of using the national volume in Yunnan college entrance examination is to better integrate with the whole country. At the same time, considering that Yunnan is a province with relatively concentrated ethnic minorities, using the national volume can better highlight the characteristics and voices of Yunnan.
The biggest difference between the national volume and the provincial volume lies in the design of the test questions. The questions in the national paper are more comprehensive, diverse and relatively difficult, which can better reflect the overall level and trend of the country. The examination questions of provincial papers will be closer to the characteristics and situation of the province, and it is relatively easier for candidates to master and respond.
The unified examination time of Yunnan college entrance examination in 2023 is scheduled for June 7 -8. The names of examination subjects in all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) are the same as those in the national unified examination, and must be consistent with the national college entrance examination timetable. The subjects of Yunnan college entrance examination are Chinese and mathematics on June 7, and literature/science and foreign languages on June 8.
National three-volume concept
National Volume III, also known as National Volume III, is one of the papers in the college entrance examination. There are three national volumes with unified propositions, which are published by the Ministry of Education and distributed to candidates in all provinces and regions of the country. Compared with ordinary volumes 2 and 1, the content of the test questions is relatively deeper, more comprehensive, moderately difficult, wider and more comprehensive.
The coverage of examination subjects and knowledge points in the national three-volume examination questions is wider than that in the ordinary first and second volumes, which requires higher comprehensive knowledge mastery and application ability of candidates. Moreover, because the national volume is issued later than the ordinary two volumes and one volume, some high-scoring candidates and independent enrollment in colleges and universities often refer to the national volume.
The difficulty of the national three volumes and the comprehensiveness of the test questions are relatively high. For candidates with certain knowledge accumulation and comprehensive ability, they can show their academic accomplishment to a certain extent.
