Focusing on undergraduate education, our college constantly strengthens the central position of teaching work, rationally sets courses, and attaches importance to the cultivation and improvement of students' solid professional theoretical knowledge learning and innovative practical ability.

Combining with the central work of "cultivating all-round development", the college encourages teachers to guide students to carry out extracurricular academic activities in order to improve the quality and level of students' extracurricular academic activities. In recent years, the college has effectively organized students to participate in the national "Challenge Cup", "National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students" and the school's "Imagination Cup" and other academic and scientific competitions. Every year, students are trained to participate in the Challenge Cup, Imagination Cup and the National Mathematical Modeling Competition for College Students. There are more than 80 participants in the national mathematical modeling competition for college students every year, and the number and grade of students who have won national awards in academic science and technology competitions in our college are also constantly improving.

The college adheres to the training goal of "thick foundation, wide caliber, strong ability and high quality", builds a broad platform for students' extracurricular activities, provides convenient conditions to help students establish innovative practice bases such as "Mathematical Modeling Training Base" and "Cai Extracurricular Activity Base", and effectively establishes innovative practice activities such as "Entrepreneurship Cup". Secondly, by guiding students to establish extracurricular academic research organizations, students have effectively improved their related skills by holding knowledge lectures, competitions and experience exchanges. In the past three years, the employment rate of graduates in our college has remained above 95%, and the postgraduate entrance examination rate has reached 12%. At present, tens of thousands of graduates are active in all fronts of the motherland's construction, contributing their youth and blood to the education and social development of the motherland.

The college offers postgraduate education in mathematics (first-class discipline), curriculum and pedagogy, including basic mathematics, applied mathematics, probability theory and mathematical statistics, computational mathematics, operational research and cybernetics, mathematics curriculum and pedagogy, among which "basic mathematics" is the key discipline in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Since 1979, 23 graduate students have been enrolled and more than 300 graduate students have been trained. At present, there are 0/7 tutors for master students, 0/20 full-time graduate students, 30 masters in education and more than 60 graduate students.

Master graduates become the backbone of teaching and scientific research in their posts, such as Professor Huang, former chairman of Henan Mathematical Society, doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University, Professor Yu Ping, doctoral supervisor of Nanjing Normal University, Dr. Li Xianxian, Dr. Zhao, Dr. Quan Xiuchi, Dr. Tang, Huang Jihong, Tang Gaohua, Wang Ruliang, Yi Zhong, Yang Shan, etc. With the development of our college, the quality of master training in our college has been continuously improved. More than 40% of the graduate students who graduated in recent five years have been admitted to the doctor's degree, especially in 2004, among the 23 new graduate students majoring in mathematics, 1 1 were admitted to the doctor's degree, and the enrollment rate of new graduates reached 47.8%.
