The research and experiment.

Second, the topic is put forward
The basic curriculum reform has been implemented for more than six years. The syllabus has changed, the teaching materials have changed, teachers' teaching concepts have changed, teaching behaviors have changed, and students' learning methods have also changed to varying degrees. However, the number of people with poor math scores should be changed. It is known that the passing rate of mathematics in the first year of spring 2008 is 29%, and that in the second year of spring 2008 is 35%, which shows that the number of students with learning difficulties in school is shocking. In 2007, the passing rate of senior high school entrance examination in a city was only 57%, while the reference rate of suburban students was about 50%, indicating that a large number of students with learning difficulties flowed into society. In the face of these ruthless data, I don't have a lot of sense of accomplishment like other teachers, but I am more worried. It is very common to give up the interests of a large number of college students and compete for the gold medal effect of prestigious schools, that is, the so-called "one good thing covers all the ugliness". The school teachers are limited, so they go all out and concentrate on the senior high school entrance examination. You can imagine the teachers' energy, attitude and management in ordinary classes. This tendency of one-sided pursuit of enrollment rate is becoming more and more serious. Facing all, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and improving their quality are just shouting slogans. This kind of giving up the interests of most students for a few students to be admitted to key middle schools really violates the original intention of quality education and is the sorrow of our education. It can be seen that it is an urgent task to study the problem of underachievers in mathematics.
Third, research hypothesis.
The two years of this survey is also the time for the gradual promotion of the curriculum reform of basic education in our city. The main objectives of this study are as follows:
1. Through theoretical research, publish some valuable papers and experimental reports on learning methods to guide experiments and popularize new learning methods;
2. Explore new teaching methods and learning methods to adapt to the new curriculum concept through experiments;
3. Through the above research and experiments, the quality of education and teaching in experimental schools has been significantly improved, and the learning ability of students with learning difficulties has been significantly improved.
Fourth, the basic contents and ideas of the study.
The research and experimental plan of this topic starts from the following aspects:
1, fully understand the significance of transforming students with learning difficulties.
As far as the personal growth of students with learning difficulties is concerned, transforming students with learning difficulties is related to the fairness of education, the healthy development of body and mind, and the harmony and happiness of families. For education, it is related to the major strategy of curriculum reform and the fundamental plan of basic education level; For the country, it is related to the quality of workers and the improvement of comprehensive national strength.
2. Study the learning motivation of students with learning difficulties.
Low level of learning motivation is the nature of students with learning difficulties. How to stimulate their learning motivation? (1) Find the bright spot and exaggerate the praise. Some people say that successful education is to praise children to death. Although excessive, it is not unreasonable. It is not that "students with learning difficulties" have no bright spots, but that teachers lack eyes to find bright spots. (2) create opportunities for success. Teachers solve difficulties in learning activities by successfully completing learning tasks, so that these students with learning difficulties can experience and understand their own abilities. When I deal with exam questions or monthly exam questions, I usually change the last two questions to 3 points for each small question, so that students with learning difficulties can easily get a sense of success. Compared with other subjects, they usually prefer to take math exams. Every time a parent-teacher conference is held, parents are convinced of their children's progress, and parents will have better expectations for their students. But I know every student's knowledge like the back of my hand There are other ways to increase the total score to 150, or divide it into A/B volumes, or quietly disclose the contents of the same test questions to students with learning difficulties before the quiz. These methods reduce the anxiety of students with learning difficulties, let them find a sense of success, and thus gain self-confidence in learning. (3) Set a successful example of the same type. When a person sees a demonstrator similar to himself succeed, he will strengthen his belief and think that he can accomplish the same task. (4) Experience success in your own progress. Ask students to know their abilities from their own changes. Compared with their own past, personal progress can enable students to gain a successful experience and increase their self-confidence. The story of "You can raise your left hand, but you can't raise your right hand" is a genius application for teachers to help these learned helplessness students jump out of the strange circle.
3. Learn to like students with learning difficulties.
To tell the truth, it is not easy for students with learning difficulties to say that they love you. But education is really a big joke. In educational psychology, there is a mechanism called mutual happiness, that is, if the teacher doesn't like students, and the students don't like you, his learning attitude and academic performance are not determined by the teacher's lecture level, but largely by his views on the teacher or the teacher's attitude towards him. Carnegie's stepmother is an example for us to learn from. Carnegie was a famous bad boy when he was a child. When his stepmother was 9 years old, his father said he was the worst boy in the county. Maybe tomorrow you will be stoned to death by her. To Carnegie's surprise, his stepmother came up to him and said, You are wrong. He is not the worst boy in the county, but the smartest boy who has not found a place to vent his enthusiasm. The stepmother brought tears to Carnegie's eyes and established a friendship with her stepmother. Since then, Carnegie has worked hard to create 28 golden rules of success. Sometimes a teacher's words will affect students for a period of time, and sometimes they will affect their lives. Excellent students will leave us, and it is these students with learning difficulties who accompany us or give us death. Be nice to them!
4. The research on the benign transformation of students with learning difficulties should be full of expectations.
Among the psychological effects of education, pygmalion effect Pygmalion is a sculptor in Greek mythology. He tried his best to carve a beautiful girl and dedicated all his love to her. God was moved by the sincerity of carving, which brought the girl's statue to life, yes. Love can always work miracles, especially for children. Rosenthal had a famous experiment. They went to a primary school and randomly counted 18 students, put them on the "most promising list" and gave them to the principal and the corresponding teachers, and told them to keep it secret. Eight months later, a miracle appeared: all the students on the list made great progress in their grades and were cheerful and confident. What is even more surprising is that these people are randomly selected. Psychologists have proved that they have confidence in every student with learning difficulties, trust them, place high hopes on them, and let them give full play to their potential.
5. Effective classroom teaching is the main position to transform students with learning difficulties.
As we all know, many educators in our country have also made many effective attempts to use hierarchical and progressive teaching to get rid of the predicament. In addition, the core idea of Yang Si Middle School is to learn first and then teach, and the combination of two cases of Donglu Middle School and the practice that Dulangkou Middle School lectures for no more than 10 minutes are worth learning from.
6. Making full use of different resources for extracurricular tutoring is one of the effective ways to get out of the predicament.
Bloom believes that "personalized help suitable for each student's needs is a supplement to group teaching", and teachers can not only provide targeted individual counseling for students, but also provide counseling for students by establishing math counseling stations. I made a useful exploration in this respect: selecting and training a group of excellent math counselors in my class, hanging their color photos on the wall, and setting up an excellent counselor award at the end of the period. Using them to give math counseling to students with learning difficulties in class or at math learning counseling stations, this many-to-many counseling method reduces the burden on teachers, has a large counseling area, and cultivates the spirit of mutual assistance and communication activities. 70% students are satisfied with the counselor, and even 15% students think that the counseling effect is better than that of the teacher.
7. Strengthen the guidance of learning strategies for students with learning difficulties.
If teachers' teaching can guide students to consciously master and use as many effective learning strategies as possible, it can greatly promote students' learning. A large number of practices have proved that guiding the learning strategies of students with learning difficulties is one of the effective ways to change the backward face of students with learning difficulties. My practice is to open a learning guidance class for new subjects. The late educator Sun Weigang attached great importance to the guidance of students' learning methods. Beijing No.22 Middle School is a very ordinary complete middle school. When students enter school, Mr. Sun teaches them how to preview, listen to lectures, do problems and review, and how to make plans and strictly monitor them. When students graduated from junior high school, they learned the mathematics teaching content of senior two, and memorized the triangle formula 1 18 in one morning. When the third experimental class graduated, they had it. Thus, scientific learning methods are the key to students' academic success.
8. Psychological counseling for students with learning difficulties.
In the education of students with learning difficulties, psychological counseling is an indispensable educational countermeasure. It can not only help students with learning difficulties get rid of their learning difficulties and achieve academic success, but also help them form a healthy psychology and sound personality, so that they can become qualified citizens to meet the needs of society in the future. For students with learning difficulties, especially those with temporary difficulties, psychological counseling is particularly important and urgent, because they have more learning troubles and personality problems than ordinary students, which need to be solved through psychological counseling. I saw a successful case of transforming students with learning difficulties with forbidden fruit effect. A teacher wants to turn a student with learning difficulties into a student with learning difficulties. He has repeatedly threatened to record the misdeeds of Zhang's students with learning difficulties in a small manual, ready to shake it out at the parent-teacher meeting. Zhang has always wanted to know what the teacher wrote. One day, the teacher deliberately left the manual in the classroom. Zhang couldn't help but peek at the manual and found that all the advantages and good things he had done were recorded. Zhang was very moved, studied hard and made rapid progress in his grades. It can be seen that it is always difficult to focus on psychological analysis and methods and believe in methods when transforming students with learning difficulties.
Teachers should deeply reflect on their own teaching and be alert to attribution bias.
Reflective thinking is to reflect, think, explore and solve all aspects of education and teaching, which is of research nature. When understanding the reasons for the academic failure of students with learning difficulties, many teachers attribute the poor academic performance of students with learning difficulties to students. However, due to its own teaching methods and teaching attitude, it is almost zero. This attribution tendency shows that some teachers do not look for the causes of students' learning difficulties from the lack of education and teaching, but put all the responsibility on students. Another kind of attribution bias is that teachers have different attribution to gifted students and students with learning difficulties. Due to the lack of comprehensive and scientific analysis of the reasons for students' learning difficulties, their education and teaching work will inevitably go into misunderstanding. Attribution bias is extremely harmful, so as a teacher, we should know the reason of attribution bias and be careful when attributing it. The daughter of a judge friend of mine usually has a moderate political score. Once she got help from her mother in the legal knowledge exam, and her performance was extremely outstanding, but the political teacher disdained to say: You can't do that well in the exam! Maybe it was cheating. From then on, the girl gave up politics completely. This is the teacher's typical attribution bias, which is extremely harmful.
The causes of students with learning difficulties are complex, and the ways of transformation are different, which has a long way to go. "Rome wasn't built in a day", it is impossible to get rid of their obstacles overnight. Improving the quality of mathematics teaching in a large area requires educators' long-term, comprehensive, rational and unremitting efforts.
Five, the organizational form of the experiment
This research group consists of educational theorists and experimental teachers. XXXX, the leader of the research group, is responsible for the theoretical research, the investigation and organization of the questionnaire and the experimental part. We plan to conduct an experiment in XXXXX to change students' learning style.
Six, the implementation steps and methods of the experiment
(A) the steps of the experiment
1. Write a research and experimental plan (XXX years, X-X months)
The project research plan is written by XXX, and the project experiment plan is written by XXX. According to the requirements of the research group, each experimental teacher writes a specific experimental plan for this topic.
2. Implementation and summary of the experiment (XXX-XXXX)
(1) The experimental teacher starts to implement according to the experimental scheme of our school (including theoretical study), and the experimental teacher can practice while learning. From the spring semester of 2003 to the summer vacation of 2004, each experimental group should write a phased experimental report at the end of each semester, summarize the experimental results of the past semester, discuss the existing problems, and write a specific experimental plan for the next semester.
(2) In 2004 10- 12, each experimental group wrote an experimental report, and the research group summarized the results of each experimental group, wrote a research report on this topic, and accepted the expert appraisal organized by the Office of the Leading Group for Educational Science Planning in Tianjin.
Experimental method
Strict education experiment should adopt the control experiment method, that is, the experimental class and the control class are set up in parallel grades, and different education and teaching methods are adopted in the experimental class and the control class respectively to observe the effect of the experiment. This can ensure the reliability, effectiveness and persuasiveness of the experiment.
Seven. Expected research results
The research group plans to publish relevant papers and works in two years to guide the experimental work of experimental teachers. At the end of 2004, I wrote a "Research Report" and prepared to accept the expert appraisal organized by the Office of the Leading Group for Educational Science Planning of XXX City.
