How to get the symbol and number of a directory item?
Project numbering can make the document clear and focused, and improve the editing speed of the document, so it is very popular with friends who like to edit articles with word97/2000. As an "automatic function" in word, "numbering" can only be observed if it is known and used properly, and it will not be counterproductive and troublesome. 1. There are two ways to apply Bullets and Numbers: manual and automatic. The former can be referenced by clicking the Numbering and Bullets button or the Bullets and Numbers command on the Format menu. The latter is referenced by setting the automatic numbering list to "automatic function" when you type after opening the AutoCorrect dialog box: when you type the mathematical serial number (1, 2; One, two; 1、2; (1), (2), etc. ) or capital letters (a, b, etc. ) and some punctuation marks (such as full width,,). Half width. ) or tab to insert text. When you press Enter to enter the contents of subsequent paragraphs, word will automatically convert them into numbered lists. 2. Interrupt, delete and add numbering Delete (cancel) the numbering in the document by the following methods: ① Press Enter twice, and the subsequent paragraphs will be automatically canceled numbering (but two extra blank lines will be inserted at the same time) ② Move the cursor between the numbering and the text, and press Backspace to delete the numbering at the beginning of the line. ③ Select (or move the cursor to) one or more paragraphs to be numbered, and then click the number button. The above methods can be used for the list of interrupt numbers, and can be selected as required. But if you want to delete multiple numbers, you can only use the method of ③. Moreover, if a shortcut key is defined for "Numbers", this method is the fastest regardless of adding or deleting numbers. Move the cursor to the end of the paragraph containing the number, press Enter to insert a number in the next paragraph, and the original subsequent number will be automatically adjusted. Third, the hard numbering method: paragraph by paragraph. Usually numbered by paragraph, that is, add a number at the beginning of each paragraph (no matter how many lines there are in the paragraph). However, many documents often put multiple paragraphs in the same number, which can be achieved by the following four methods: ① Press the "Shift Enter" key combination at the end of the first paragraph to insert a line break, and then you can enter new content in the next line without automatically adding the number (the actual content and the previous content still belong to one paragraph). (2) After the first paragraph in a certain number is finished, press Enter twice or more to insert the required empty paragraph (the number will be interrupted at this time). When the cursor moves to the paragraph to be numbered, click the Number button. At this point, word usually follows the previous list number. Then move the cursor back to the previous blank section to enter the content. (3) After interrupting the numbering and entering multiple paragraphs, select the numbered text before interrupting and click (or double-click) the Format Brush button, and then click the paragraphs to be numbered to continue numbering. (If you use a keyboard, press Ctrl Shift C to copy the format, and then press Ctrl Shift V to paste the format). ④ After interrupting numbering and entering multiple paragraphs, select the next paragraph to be numbered, open the Bullets and Numbering dialog box, select the same numbering style as the previous paragraph, and then select Continue to the previous list (c). It is not difficult to find that the method of 234 is actually to insert multiple paragraphs by interrupting the numbering, and then insert multiple paragraphs in a number before trying to continue numbering. In contrast, ① method is more convenient, but some formats of subsequent lines must be specially treated (for example, the indentation at the beginning of the line can only be replaced by typing spaces), so "looks" is another paragraph. This paper introduces a fast and extremely effective method-multilevel numbering method: first, open the bullet and numbering dialog box, set your paragraph number as one of the multilevel numbering, and then click Customize to set the numbering style of the current level (usually 1) and the numbering style of the next level (usually 2) according to your needs. All right! Suppose you want to enter three paragraphs, of which 1 and 3 paragraphs are numbered and 2 paragraphs are unnumbered. Just set the 1 segment level to 1 and it will be numbered; Don't number the second paragraph, right-click Ok, press Enter and then press "Tab" to lower the level of the next paragraph to 2. How's it going? No number! Now enter 2 paragraphs; When pressing Enter to enter 3 segments, press "Shift Tab" to upgrade the segment level to 1, and the number will appear again. There is a drop (size), try it, is it convenient! 4. Setting the numbering format of 1 affects the aesthetic and standardized "spacing": I believe many friends are annoyed by the problem of excessive spacing between numbering and words in word, and they give up "numbering" because they don't know how to adjust the spacing. If you open the options dialog box, set "Tab" to display in the document, and carefully observe the horizontal ruler and numbered control symbols in the document, you will find that a tab will appear near the left indent mark after using the number (there is also a tab after the number). This is the crux of the problem: when numbering in word, an uneditable character is inserted between the number and the first character of the paragraph. By default, tabs are used to separate numbers from text, and tab stops are used to align text. Understand this truth, and the problem will be solved: select the numbered list whose spacing is to be changed, hold down Alt and drag the tab stop on the ruler to the left to narrow the distance between the number and the text, otherwise drag it to the right to increase the spacing. There is another unique method: inserting numbers with multilevel symbols can change the default spacing of characters. The method is as follows: Click Format → Bullets and Numbering in the main menu to open the dialog box, then click multi-level symbols, select the appropriate style, then click Custom, click Advanced in the dialog box of custom multi-level symbol list, then change the numbered content (default is tab) to "Not specially marked", and close the dialog boxes in turn after confirmation. If you change it to "spacing", you can also change the spacing to be very small without moving the tab stop to reduce the spacing. Although it is a multilevel symbol, it is also very smooth to use as a first-level number. 2. Various numbering formats: Only 13 numbering style is provided in word. But if you are good at modifying, you can "customize" countless styles. The method is as follows: after opening the Bullets and Numbering dialog box, select a numbering style, and then click the Customize button to open the Customize Numbering List dialog box. After selecting a style in the number style drop-down list box, you can enter other characters before and after the number in the text box under the number format to form numbers in various formats. For example, the numbered list in brackets becomes (1), (2), (3) ...; Add "-"as-c ...; ome-a,-b,-c...; Add the word "Zhang Zhang" to become 1 Zhang Zhang Zhang San ... It is "the sky is high, birds can fly, and the sea is wide." 3. Color number font: In the Custom Number List dialog box, click "Font …" to specify the font, font style, font size, color, character spacing, shadow and other effects of the number. 4. Numbers and text positions that can't be ignored: If the numbers and text layout positions are not satisfactory, you can modify them in the Custom Number List dialog box. Among them, the alignment position in the number position box is equivalent to the first line indentation, and the indentation position in the text position box is equivalent to the left indentation. After understanding the meaning of these two items, I believe it is needless to say what this setting is (in fact, you can also modify these values directly with the left indent and the first indent on the ruler). If it is a "multi-level symbol", it is necessary to set the number alignment position and text indentation position of each level item by item until it meets the actual needs. 5. Specify shortcut keys: An effective way to speed up the operation is to specify numbered shortcut keys: press ""in the Ctrl Alt numeric keypad at the same time, click the numbered button on the common toolbar after the mouse pointer changes to a flower shape, then move the cursor to "Please press a new shortcut key" in the "Customize Keyboard" dialog box, and press the desired key combination, such as "Ctrl 8" (quick numbering or canceling numbering). You should also define shortcut keys for bullets and numbers in the format menu, such as "Ctrl 9" (open the detailed settings box). After defining the shortcut key, you can use the keyboard to apply or cancel (interrupt) the numbering, or set the numbering style, which saves time and effort. Sixth, copy the numbered text: attention is not helpful. If you copy the numbered text content to a new location, the text numbering in the new location will change and will usually continue to be numbered after the previous list. If you want the same format as before copying, you need to open the Bullets and Numbering dialog box and select Restart Numbering, which is usually ignored. 7. It is convenient and quick to convert numbers into numbers, but it is inconvenient in some operations such as copying and changing numbering styles. At this time, the numbers can be converted into real text numbers. Select a numbered paragraph, press Ctrl+C, and then select Edit → Paste Special. Press unformatted text to paste it in a new location, and the number will be converted into text. Now you can change it at will. Eight, the blockbuster of "multi-level symbols": Tab and Shift Tab multi-level symbols are very useful in typesetting, such as test papers. After entering a number of a certain level (such as 1, 2, 3 ...), press Enter to automatically enter the next number, and then press Tab to switch to the next number style (such as A, B, 3 ...). Using these two items flexibly can also get twice the result with half the effort. A suggestion If you want to have complete control over the numbering and don't want to be disturbed or manipulated by AutoCorrect, please close the AutoNumber List in AutoCorrect. If you don't handle the "number" properly and there is something wrong with the "number", you might as well try "Ctrl Z" more, which can save a lot of effort. The operation methods of "bullet" are mostly the same, so I won't repeat them here.
