The national volume of the new curriculum standard, referred to as the national volume for short, is a college entrance examination paper made by the examination center of the Ministry of Education, which is suitable for most provinces and regions in China and aims to ensure the fairness of talent selection.

Starting from 20 16, the national volumes I, II and III were renamed as national volumes B, A and C respectively. Small languages (Japanese/Russian/French/German/Spanish) use the national unified examination papers, and the provinces have no right to make their own papers, and the papers are not divided into A, B and C.
