1, click the "Start" menu and click the "Control Panel" item.
2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs in the open control panel window.
3. Add or remove programs dialog box pops up, select Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 in the list of currently installed programs, and click Change.
4. Enter the Microsoft Office 2003 Installation Wizard, select the "Add or Remove Features" option, and then click "Next" to continue.
5. In the Custom Installation interface, select the "Select advanced customization of application" check box, and then click "Next" to continue.
6. Enter the advanced customization interface, expand the Office tool options, click the down triangle arrow button of the formula editor, click the run command from this computer in the open menu, and click the update button to install the formula editor.
Use the Word formula editor
1, open Word 2003, and click Object on the Insert menu.
2. Open the Object dialog box, select the Microsoft Formula 3.0 project in the Object Type list under the New tab, and then click OK.
3. Enter the formula editor window and select the appropriate number symbol in the formula toolbar.
4. Enter a specific numerical value in the formula text box, then select the numerical value, and click the "Size"-"Other" command in the menu bar.
5. Open the Other Dimensions dialog box, enter the appropriate numerical dimension in the dimension text box, and then click OK.
6. Finally, click on the blank area outside the editing window and return to the interface of Word document, so that we can see the formula in graphic form.
