Educational investigation and research report

On June 2, 1965, I was assigned to Baoji Jidu Middle School for a six-week educational internship. During the period, I worked hard actively, humbly consulted experienced teachers and successfully completed my internship. At the same time, I also made an in-depth investigation during my internship, aiming at the course of mathematics. I spent a lot of time in order to get the real thoughts of teachers and students, and the final survey results will be of great help to my future career. In order to obtain comprehensive and detailed information, I not only confined myself to the class survey, but also conducted cross-class and grade surveys, and even went to the internship school where other students were located. An important form of investigation is to issue questionnaires. At the same time, I also actively talk with students and communicate with teachers in order to better understand the situation.

Here, I would like to introduce my own survey results and talk about some views on mathematics teaching and learning in middle schools. Some problems may have been described by predecessors, or teachers often talk about them, but I think this is the real experience and feelings of us interns, not just the previous theoretical understanding. I hope my knowledge can have some influence on my future work.

First of all, let's talk about math teaching from the teacher's point of view.

My school is a provincial key high school with a large scale. This school ranks fifth in the college entrance examination in Baoji, so the number of students has been increasing in recent years, so the teaching quality is particularly important. Baoji attaches great importance to education investment. The school is in good economic condition, with advanced equipment and modern educational equipment such as computers and slide projectors. In recent years, the students in this school have achieved good results and a good foundation, but for ordinary classes, the level of students in the class is uneven and polarization is serious.

My investigation found that the teaching methods used by most teachers in mathematics classroom teaching are correct and in line with the actual teaching situation. Many math teachers will design many questions when preparing lessons, so as to ask students and communicate with them in class. In the survey, some math teachers told me that students nowadays are lazy and don't pay much attention to their studies. Especially in this difficult course, they think that the scores of hard work and no hard work have not improved significantly, so their confidence is decreasing, and hard work may not necessarily lead to good results. Therefore, when you let them go home to preview, most students basically don't watch it. Therefore, ask more questions in class, so as to force them to watch after class. In the process of mathematics teaching, we must ask "why" more, on the one hand, it can let teachers and students communicate, on the other hand, it can further explore the relevant content of textbooks. I also used this method in my own practice teaching, and the effect is really good.

The teacher thinks that students in a class have great differences in their math scores, so they can be divided into several grades. It is almost impossible for a teacher to make all the students learn math well, depending on the specific situation and personal foundation of the students. There are different requirements for students according to personal circumstances. For students with particularly poor grades, some teachers take measures to strengthen the basic knowledge and appropriately reduce the difficulty, but the teacher's energy is limited and may not be able to take care of every student. The teacher also admitted that he was biased in the teaching process, but there was nothing he could do. After all, there is a baton that binds them invisibly. Teachers can't treat students equally. It's really commendable that teachers can tell me frankly.

In the process of mathematics teaching, teachers should treat classroom teaching more seriously, because classroom teaching of mathematics is very important. Because many students simply give up after class, the teacher encourages them to move in class, leave questions and use their brains. Therefore, for students who don't practice after class, class is all they have. In the survey, most teachers adopt the classroom student-driven teaching method, which is to let students think for themselves, consolidate their knowledge and achieve the effect of practice. In the survey, I also found that the classroom atmosphere is relatively harmonious when experienced teachers teach. The teacher said that some students in our school have poor memory and lack consciousness. If the atmosphere is too active, the class will be chaotic and difficult to control. Moreover, students' autonomous learning ability is poor and their cooperation ability is lacking. It has achieved practical results but consumed a lot of time, thus affecting the teaching progress.

Secondly, talk about mathematics from the students' point of view.

In the survey, most students have great difficulties in mathematics learning. When chatting after class, everyone complained to me: "Teacher, math is so difficult!" " "Although I encourage them with a firm tone, compared with junior high school knowledge, high school knowledge can be said to be a qualitative leap in difficulty, but as long as you persevere in your usual study, constantly explore the learning rules of high school and find a suitable learning method, you will gradually find the feeling of learning mathematics. Give them confidence to learn math well, and think hard about how to help them change their learning style from junior high school to senior high school as soon as possible to adapt to the difficult math study in senior high school. Students nowadays are so individual. I think it's good to learn math well. After all, if you get one more point in the college entrance examination, your life path will be different, not to mention that you will use math knowledge more or less after entering the society.

Students are interested in modern teaching methods at first, but it doesn't matter if they wait for a long time. Some students told me that the teacher didn't grasp the teaching time of polyhedron very well. Sometimes he took notes too quickly, sometimes too slowly, and the students sounded bored. Some students even say that the teacher's methods are too old, which affects their enthusiasm for learning mathematics.

In the investigation, students hope that teachers can pay attention to them. No matter the students with good grades or those with poor grades, their views on this issue are the same. In the survey, a student asked me what I think of teachers who only pay attention to students with good grades, and asked me if I would be a teacher in the future. I answered them: teachers pay attention to students with good grades because they can listen to their teachers, but under normal circumstances, underachievers are poor in consciousness and often disobedient, which naturally makes teachers unhappy. Teachers are human beings, and it is normal to have certain deviations. But I found in concrete practice that as long as we can pay more attention to the underachievers, they will be very moved and make great progress. It seems that teachers should treat students equally and encourage underachievers, which is very important for the communication between teachers and students. Good communication is conducive to teachers' better teaching and students' love of learning the courses you teach.

The second part is the education investigation report.

The spring breeze of education reform has spread all over China, and the basic education project has been included in the top priority of national education. A new round of curriculum reform has been implemented, and the horn of quality education has sounded. However, what is the current educational situation of rural primary schools? I used my summer vacation to go to the countryside for social practice and understand the current situation of rural primary education. The overall appearance of rural primary schools has changed a lot. First of all, in the teaching building, the original simple adobe house has been transformed into a brick house, which is spacious and bright, providing a better learning environment for students. Secondly, in the teaching hardware facilities, the dilapidated tables and chairs have been replaced by new tables and chairs, and books, cultural and sports equipment and various teaching instruments are also equipped accordingly. Third, the number of teachers in schools has increased. However, I think there are still many disadvantages in rural primary education, mainly in the following aspects:

First, the school is small in scale and its hardware facilities are backward.

Although rural primary schools have made great improvements in school buildings and hardware facilities, there is still a big gap compared with urban primary schools. Due to the limited funds for rural education, many needs cannot be met. Most rural primary schools lack or incomplete computer rooms and multimedia classrooms. The number of books in the library is small and outdated, and the sports equipment is poor. A lot of equipment is just for display. When they are broken, they often lack funds to buy new ones.

Second, the professional level of teachers is not high and the workload is heavy.

In rural middle schools, there are many old teachers who have rich teaching experience, but their educational methods are backward and the teaching quality is very problematic. Because rural information is relatively closed and there is little communication with the outside world, primary school teachers' educational concept lags behind and their educational and teaching ability is not strong. Most teachers still use the traditional method of a piece of chalk+a mouth+a book to complete their own teaching, while students' learning methods are still five stages: listening, writing, reading, reciting and testing. This primitive and backward teaching method not only can not meet the needs of contemporary teaching, but also increases the burden on teachers and students, consumes a lot of time and energy, and achieves twice the result with half the effort. At the same time, rural parents are forced to go out to work because of life, which makes the absence of family education in rural areas serious. Putting all the educational responsibilities that should be borne by families and parents on teachers and schools requires teachers to give more care and care to these students in their study and life, which undoubtedly increases the burden on teachers.

Third, quality education is difficult to implement and curriculum reform is difficult.

Rural education has been shrouded in the shadow of exam-oriented education. Under the restriction and influence of the big environment, teachers all take students' high scores as their own goals, and schools also take students' achievements as the basis to measure teachers' teaching level. Although music, physical education, artistic English and other courses are offered, it is difficult to guarantee that students can't develop physically and mentally in an all-round way, and their knowledge is narrow and their concepts are backward.

Fourth, there are fewer primary schools at village level, which makes it inconvenient for students to go to school.

Where I went, there used to be a village-level primary school in Ailin Village, Chen Zhuang Town. However, due to poor teaching conditions and backward teaching equipment, more and more parents send their children to towns and schools with better teaching quality, and the number of students decreases year by year, and finally the schools are abolished. At present, most students are studying in a township primary school. To some extent, merging village-level primary schools is conducive to concentrating educational resources and saving educational expenses. However, at present, rural primary schools do not provide accommodation, which brings inconvenience to some students who live far away. Pupils are young, running back and forth every day is not only a waste of time, but also difficult to ensure the personal safety of students.

To sum up, the present situation of rural primary education is really not optimistic. Rural primary education accounts for half of compulsory education, so we must attach great importance to its disadvantages. The basic education sector is impregnable, and the development of education can only become an empty slogan. The solution of its problems is also the only way to achieve educational fairness and balance. Otherwise, it is equivalent to losing most of the primary school stage and the foundation of the whole basic education, and there is no quality education for all. Therefore, only by taking measures to completely change the poor conditions for rural children to receive school education and strengthen and consolidate the weak links in the basic education chain can rural primary schools get out of the predicament, lay a solid foundation for the development of rural basic education and promote the development of rural education:

First, improve the conditions for running schools in rural primary schools.

To improve the education and material conditions of rural primary schools, we should focus on government investment, raise education funds through multiple channels, and tilt the policy as far as possible to rural areas and to weak and remote rural primary and secondary schools. Without the corresponding educational conditions, improving the quality of teaching instruments, books and even school buildings can only be empty talk. According to the number of students in each rural school, the central and provincial governments can allocate rural education funds to rural nine-year compulsory schools in a fixed, regular and quantitative way through banks, which can avoid the interception of education funds in multiple intermediate links and ensure the stability, equality and reliability of rural education funds. At the same time, attention should be paid to the renovation of dilapidated buildings in primary schools, and necessary educational equipment and books and materials should be purchased, so that the school-running conditions, management level and teaching quality of village-run primary schools can be significantly improved.

Second, strengthen the construction of rural primary school teachers.

Improve the status and treatment of rural teachers and ensure the stability and growth of small rural teachers. Governments at all levels should conscientiously implement the intellectual policy and try their best to improve the working and living conditions of rural primary school teachers. Because teachers can only meet people's expectations if they have the required knowledge and skills, personal qualities, career prospects and work motivation. In improving the overall quality of rural primary school teachers, the government and education authorities should pay attention to the regularity of teacher training and create conditions and opportunities for rural primary school teachers to participate in continuing education. Through study and training, we can master modern teaching methods and constantly improve the breadth and depth of knowledge, thus improving the overall quality of teachers. On the other hand, teachers should constantly improve their teaching skills and educational responsibility, and constantly improve their teaching methods according to the different characteristics of students and the requirements of quality education. Heuristic teaching is adopted to cultivate rural primary school students' good thinking quality and creative ability to meet the needs of modern society for talents. Due to the limitation of living environment and learning conditions, children in rural primary schools need teachers' care, encouragement and help more. Learn as much as possible about the basic situation of each student, especially migrant children, pay more attention to their learning completion and changes, talk and communicate with them more, and keep abreast of their problems and difficulties in learning. Their education should be based on encouragement, so that teachers' encouragement can be the supervision and motivation for children's learning.

Third, renew educational concepts and carry out various quality education activities.

Quality education is an education that highlights the ability to survive and live. It can make students realize the importance of having real talents and learning, require classroom teaching to be more related to life practice and production practice, and spontaneously resist the teaching method of taking examination as the center and unilaterally pursuing the enrollment rate. Ensure the class hours of music, art and physical education courses, attach importance to extracurricular activities, broaden students' horizons and cultivate students' practical ability and innovative thinking. At the same time, we should also pay attention to improving the quality education management level of rural education managers.

Four, the implementation of boarding management.

Pupils are too young to go to school four times a day, so it is inconvenient to run back and forth every day. And the safety of students on the road can not be guaranteed. If rural primary schools implement boarding system, then schools are easy to manage, especially left-behind children, which can fill the gap in family education and ensure the personal safety of students. We should make rational use of the cancelled school buildings and don't leave them idle.

I benefited a lot from this social practice and saw the prosperity of rural development. At the same time, I also understand the current situation of rural primary education. Rural compulsory education is the focus of education in China, and rural primary education is the most important. Paying attention to rural primary education and improving its present situation is an important foundation for the smooth development of rural compulsory education. Only by strengthening rural primary education can we gradually improve the quality of rural education. Xiu Yuan has a long way to go, and rural primary education needs great attention and continuous exploration from the state and government.

Article 3 Education investigation and research report

Educational practice is an important compulsory course for comprehensive practice in normal universities. It is not only a comprehensive training of normal students' thinking and business, but also a comprehensive test and improvement of normal students' psychology, thinking, ability and knowledge. It plays a special role in forming a reasonable knowledge structure and ability structure for normal students, helping students to improve their understanding of society, national conditions and the current situation of primary and secondary education, stimulating students' understanding and love for the party's education, and cultivating excellent teachers' ethics, abilities and skills. Educational practice occupies a very important position in the whole normal education, and it is an indispensable vocational training link to train qualified teachers. In this internship, I once again realized the taste of being a teacher and truly realized the ups and downs of being in the front line of education. It's hard to say how far I can reach. However, I have gained a lot. This is very important for my study and future work. Our internship mainly includes education and teaching, and I have benefited a lot from both. Among them, the class teacher's educational practice activities are mainly carried out through the theme class meeting. In other words, we carry out educational practice activities by organizing theme class meetings. In the preparation and organization of the class meeting, I deeply realized the following points:

First, while being a mentor in the education process, we should also be friends.

With the pace of educational modernization, people gradually form such a concept: equality between teachers and students. How to grasp this degree of "equality"? This time I have an ideal answer to this question: I should be a friend and a mentor. I think this is the "equality between teachers and students" that our education needs. "Tutor", this is the basic role of educators. "Friends" is a new requirement for our educators. As we all know, in order to obtain good educational effect, we must know about students. And it is absolutely impossible for students to listen and watch at ordinary times. This requires us to approach students, listen to their voices patiently, gain their trust step by step, and become their bosom friends.

In the preparation of the whole theme class meeting, we have the opportunity to contact students. During this period, we talked with students and gained their trust. Some of them can tell us their hearts sincerely. In this way, we have a deeper understanding of students. At the same time, we are also surprised that our students have so many colorful ideas and experiences. There is a student and two sisters. The elder sister got good grades and went to a key university. Therefore, my father has always compared her with her sister. So she felt very stressed and discouraged, and felt that no matter how hard she worked, she could satisfy her father. As a result, her behavior became more rebellious. Another female student thinks that she and her parents have been playing a long TV series. Both parents are directors and screenwriters of this play, and she can only be an actor in this play forever. The director and screenwriter have been directing and the actors have been performing. What they direct, the actors perform. Actors are not allowed to fabricate some plots for themselves, nor are they allowed to reveal their feelings, expressions and actions in private. Can only numbly follow the director's scripted performance. She felt very tired and wanted to express it and change this situation. Knowing this situation, we gave them some guidance and provided her with an opportunity to express her feelings in the form of a performance at the class meeting. That's it. In the process of their contact, we heard many different stories and gradually learned about the inner world of students. On this basis, we will continue to enrich the content of the theme class meeting and gradually make various preparations.

Second, self-management, give full play to students' creativity and autonomy.

At the beginning of the preparation of the theme class meeting, follow-up guidance was implemented, and the students rehearsed in detail and corrected in time when problems were found. But we gradually found it inappropriate to do so. Because our students are junior one students. It is difficult for students of this age to sit still and stand up to listen to the class, but they are active, curious and easily disturbed. So when we supervise and guide them, they will make a noise and make a fuss. We had to leave the rehearsal to tidy up the discipline, which lasted all night. As a result, the progress was slow and the effect was not high. We were very tired.

Later, we decided to adopt a new management method-self-management. This method is mainly based on the following two considerations: 1. Students have a strong desire to perform, hope to have the opportunity to perform, and hope that their performances can be recognized by others, especially teachers. Therefore, they cherish the opportunity of class meeting to show their talents. 2. There are some students who have strong organizational and management skills, and their role can't be played, mainly because they are not given the rights as managers. We draw lessons from the "reinforcement" method of psychology, divide each program into a group, appoint a management person in charge, and be fully responsible for directing and organizing. And made a contract with each group: "After a certain period of inspection, if the rehearsal is good, we will perform on stage, otherwise, we will cancel the group program." The implementation effect of this method is immediate. Every group hopes to be strengthened, inspire their collectivism spirit, rehearse carefully, and management leaders also play an important role. By the time of inspection, they had performed well. It can be seen that this method has a good effect and can save a lot of time to prepare for other aspects of the class meeting.

It can be said that the implementation of this method is an important reason for the success of our class meeting.

Third, in the process of class meeting, cultivate students' quality.

What is the main goal of education? I think many educators will have such an ideal-to cultivate students' ability. This also has the so-called "quality education" formulation. At this point, our main problem is to formalize the cultivation of students' quality. Organize students to sing, dance and perform in activities, and sometimes even rush out only when superior leaders inspect. This represents the achievement of "quality education". Obviously, this practice is not appropriate.

Our educational practice also carries out class meeting activities. In the whole process of activity organization, preparation and performance, we attach great importance to the cultivation of students' practical ability.

First of all, our management has always been self-management, and from the good effect, it has cultivated students' organizational and management abilities.

Secondly, the students' performances on the stage exercise their psychological endurance. There is such a female student. She is usually introverted and lacks confidence. Unexpectedly, she won the opportunity of the class meeting and played the leading role in a stage play of the class meeting. In addition, the performance was well received by other students.

Third, give full play to students' talents in class activities. In fact, the prototype of the class meeting is very immature, and the content also seems a bit inconsistent with the characteristics of the students in the class. However, due to the active participation of students, many talented students made suggestions and arranged programs for the class meeting, thus enriching the content of the whole class meeting and paving the way for the class meeting. One of the female students enthusiastically proposed to write a stage play for the class meeting, and as a result, she wrote a 2 1 page script, which filled an important content for the class meeting and brought her talents into full play.

Finally, we go deep into the students and become their "mentors" and "friends". Many students confide in us, and we can try our best to help students solve their psychological problems and cope with difficulties, which has played a guiding role in improving their psychological quality.

Fourth, modern education needs the organic combination of family and school.

Our theme class meeting is mainly aimed at the decreasing mutual understanding between parents and children. We sounded the alarm for the communication between parents and children. At the same time, after completing the class meeting, we deeply realize that schools should do more for the communication between parents and children. At the class meeting, we listened to the students' true feelings, which strengthened our determination to run the class meeting well. Therefore, we provide many parents with opportunities to listen to students' voices. I think this has narrowed the distance between parents and children to some extent. After the meeting, a mother took her daughter and the former class teacher in tears and had a more in-depth dialogue. This is what we expect, and I think it is what our school education can hope to achieve.

In a word, through three weeks of internship, I learned a lot and found my own shortcomings. It can be said that our internship is only the beginning of our future education. It has an important enlightening effect on our future study and work.
