Marx said, "If any subject in the world does not develop to the point where it can be closely linked with mathematics, it means that this subject is still mature."
In a sense, mathematics is not only the cornerstone of the science building, but also the ubiquitous water and mud in the building. If a science wants to become a science and a useful material in architecture, it is unthinkable without the participation and demonstration of mathematics, and it may not be a science. Therefore, Marx's above statement is affirmative. As to how close and mature a scientific research competition can be to mathematics, it still depends on practice.
